Ex-Ikea's plant in Nizhny Novgorod to be relaunched in 2–3 months
ST. PETERSBURG, Mar 27 (PRIME) -- New owner of the plant of Swedish furniture retailer Ikea in Nizhny Novgorod plans to relaunch full-scale production in two to three months, Invest Plus, whose beneficiary Vadim Osipov became the plant owner, said on Monday.
"The new owner guarantees keeping the number and terms of employment for the staff of Ikea Industry Novgorod for at least a year,” the statement said.
“Full-scale production is to be relaunched on the premises in Novgorod in the next two to three months."
Osipov confirmed the closure of the plant acquisition deal by his company Slotex last week.
